Complete Bali Tour & Team Building Packages
First Outbound designs and runs Bali tour, gathering and team building programmes for corporate groups and communities, from twenty to more than two hundred participants. Arrive overland from Malang or Surabaya with your coach staying with you all week, or fly straight into Denpasar and let us handle the ground. Hotels, meals, tickets, licensed guides, team building crew and full documentation are arranged end to end.
What a Bali programme actually looks like
Bali works for groups because of geography as much as reputation. Within a two-hour drive of Kuta you can put a team on a cliff-top temple at sunset, in a grade II–III river the next morning, and around a beachfront seafood table that night. One itinerary, three completely different experiences, without a single long transfer.
The first decision is not which sights to see, it is how you arrive. Overland from East Java crosses at Ketapang–Gilimanuk and brings your own coach onto the island, where it stays with the group for the entire programme. That is the single biggest cost saving for parties of forty to two hundred. Flying into Ngurah Rai suits smaller and more senior groups, and groups converging from several branches or several countries at once.
The rates below are all-in per person: hotel, coach, ferry where it applies, meals on the itinerary, entrance tickets to the sites named, guides and crew, and edited documentation. Flights are the thing that sits outside the figure, and we say so plainly rather than bury it. Send us the headcount, the dates and where the group is starting from, and we will quote the actual number.
Three Bali packages, two ways onto the island
Two overland formats built around your own coach, and one fly-in retreat that starts at the arrivals hall in Denpasar. Rates are per person, all-in, at the minimum group size shown. The figure comes down as the group grows, and everything is built to brief, so treat these as a starting point rather than a fixed menu.

What a Bali gathering itinerary looks like
Outlines for the two packages with a fixed day structure, to show how a programme is paced rather than to fix it. The 3D1N Essential is built around your departure time and the ferry, so we send that one as a costed run sheet on request. The final schedule is always built around your arrival, your group size and what the trip is meant to achieve.

What the Bali package price includes, and what it does not
The published figures are all-in per-person rates, not programme fees with the trip bolted on afterwards. Nothing below is a hidden extra; anything outside the rate is simply quoted on its own line.
| Item | In the package rate | Quoted separately |
|---|---|---|
| Accommodation | Yes: 1 night on the Essential, 2 nights on the Gathering and the Fly-In, twin share with breakfast | Single-occupancy rooms, extra nights, property upgrades |

| Ferry crossing | Yes on the overland packages: Ketapang–Gilimanuk both ways | Not applicable to the Fly-In |
| Flights | No | Yes, we can arrange the whole leg, or work around tickets you already hold |
| Airport handling | Yes on the Fly-In: meet and greet at Ngurah Rai and the return transfer | Airport handling added to an overland package |
| Meals | Yes: 7 meals on the Essential, 9 on the Gathering, full board on the Fly-In, plus snack boxes, mineral water and coffee and tea on board | Special catering and extra banquets |
| Entrance tickets | Yes, for every site named in the package | Additional sites, and Tanjung Benoa watersports |
| Team building | Included on the Gathering and the Fly-In, with Game Master, facilitators and awarding | Added to the Essential as an option, or extra sessions on the others |
| Gala dinner | Jimbaran seafood dinner on the Essential. Full gala with MC and entertainment on the Gathering and the Fly-In | Live band upgrade, stage and lighting production |
| Guides & crew | Yes: Tour Leader and a licensed Bali local guide on every unit | Extra crew for very large groups |
| Documentation | Yes: photo and video, with an edited highlight reel on the Gathering and the full package on the Fly-In | Drone work, same-day edit, printed albums |
| Travel insurance | Included on the Essential. For the other formats we confirm the cover in writing when we quote | Additional cover your company requires |
| Merchandise | Group banner | T-shirts, tumblers, caps and tote bags |
The per-person figure comes down as the group grows, because coach, crew and equipment costs are shared across more participants. Send us your headcount and dates and we will quote the actual number rather than a range.
How to book a Bali tour or team building programme
- Get in touch on WhatsApp +62 856-5561-2983 or by email at 1stoutbound@gmail.com. We answer in English.
- Tell us the brief: participant numbers, dates, where the group is starting from, and what the trip is meant to achieve.
- We recommend a route, overland or fly-in, and a package to match, then send a costed itinerary. If we think neither route fits your budget or your dates, we will say so.
- Confirm the details: run sheet, rooming list, meal arrangements, dietary requirements, and the invoicing terms your finance team needs, all in writing.
- Secure the date with a 30% deposit against our invoice. The balance is settled no later than three days before departure.
- On the day, the coach, ferry booking, hotel, guides and crew are all in place. Your group arrives and takes part; we run everything else.
Why Bali is the right choice for corporate tours and team building
Bali is the most established group-travel destination in Indonesia, and the reason is geography as much as reputation. Within a two-hour drive of Kuta you can put a team on a cliff-top temple at sunset, in a grade II–III river the next morning, and around a beachfront seafood table that night. One itinerary, three completely different experiences, without a single long transfer.
There are two clean ways in, and both work. Overland from East Java crosses at Ketapang–Gilimanuk and brings your own coach onto the island; it stays with the group for the entire programme, which is the single biggest cost saving for parties of forty to two hundred. Or fly into Ngurah Rai International, fifteen minutes from Kuta, with direct connections from every major Indonesian city and much of Asia and Australia. Groups arriving from several branches at once can converge at the airport and start the programme together.
The supporting infrastructure is what makes Bali low-risk for organisers. Hotels from ★3 to ★5 sit inside the Kuta, Legian, Seminyak and Nusa Dua corridor, all of them used to handling coach groups and block bookings. Open venues for team building are available at Bloom Garden in Bedugul and across the Ubud and Gianyar belt. Adventure operators, from Ayung River rafting to Tanjung Benoa watersports, are licensed, insured and briefed to work with corporate groups rather than walk-in tourists.
And then there is the finish. A seafood dinner on Jimbaran beach at sunset is the most reliable closing night in Indonesian corporate travel: open air, no ballroom rental, and enough room for an MC, live music, awards and fun games. It is the photograph the team keeps.
One island, every landscape
Temple, beach, crater lake, river and rice terrace inside a two-hour radius. Relaxation, adventure and culture in one itinerary.
Two ways in
Overland coach from Malang or Surabaya with the ferry crossing included, or fly straight into Denpasar and let us take it from the terminal.
Group-ready infrastructure
★3 to ★5 hotels used to block bookings, open team building venues, and licensed adventure operators with their own insurance.
The Jimbaran finish
A beachfront seafood gala at sunset, with MC, live music, awards and games, and without the cost of a ballroom.
Bilingual as standard
Game Master, facilitators, MC, field crew and every document in English and Indonesian. Not an add-on, not an interpreter standing to one side.
Team building activities we run
The formats below are the same ones that make up a Bali programme: river rafting, facilitated team dynamics, ground-based games and the closing group photo under your own banner.

These photographs are from First Outbound programmes elsewhere in Indonesia, not from Bali, and are shown here because the activity formats are the same. Photography from our Bali itineraries is being added as those events run.
The practical side
Getting here
Ngurah Rai International is fifteen minutes from Kuta and takes direct connections from every major Indonesian city and much of Asia and Australia. Groups already in East Java usually come overland instead, crossing at Ketapang–Gilimanuk with their own coach. We meet the group either way.
Language
The Game Master, facilitators, MC and Liaison Officers work in English and Indonesian, alongside a licensed Bali local guide. Run sheets, safety briefings and the post-event report are delivered in English.
Currency & invoicing
All rates are quoted and invoiced in Indonesian Rupiah, to your company or its local entity. Tell us your finance team's requirements when you enquire and we will confirm the terms in writing before anything is committed.
Group size
The overland packages start at 40 participants, because the coach and ferry costs only make sense at that scale. The fly-in retreat starts at 20. We have run programmes above 200, and the per-person rate falls as the group grows.
Companies that have run programmes with us
Fourteen years of corporate programmes across Indonesia, from twenty-person leadership offsites to gatherings of several hundred.

If Bali is not the right fit
Bali is the easiest destination to sell to a group and the most expensive to run, and it is not always the right answer. If the team is flying in from abroad on a short schedule, our Bandung team building and retreat programmes sit forty-five minutes from Jakarta on the Whoosh line. If the group is large and the budget matters, Yogyakarta gathering and team building packages give you two UNESCO temples and the deepest hotel supply in Java at roughly the price of the Bali Essential. And if you are already in East Java, Banyuwangi puts rafting, an uninhabited island and a beachfront gala within a much shorter drive.
Tell us where the group is coming from, the budget per head, and what the trip needs to achieve, and we will tell you honestly which destination fits, including when the answer is none of these four.
Frequently asked questions
Is the programme run in English?
Yes. The Game Master, facilitators, MC and Liaison Officers all work bilingually, and briefings, run sheets and the post-event report are in English. Mixed groups of Indonesian and international staff are the case we design for, not an exception. On every Bali package you also get a licensed Bali local guide, who works alongside our crew rather than replacing it.
Does the rate include hotels and meals?
Yes. The Bali packages are all-in per person: hotel, coach, the ferry crossing where it applies, meals on the itinerary, entrance tickets to the sites named, guides and crew, and edited documentation. Flights are the main thing outside the figure, along with anything listed in the "quoted separately" column of the inclusions table above.
Should we come overland or fly in?
Overland if the group is large and starting from East Java. Bringing your own coach across at Ketapang–Gilimanuk is the single biggest cost saving on a Bali programme, because that coach then stays with the group for the whole trip rather than being hired day by day. Fly in if the group is small, senior, short on time, or converging from several branches or countries at once. The trade is money against hours on the road, and we will do the arithmetic with you rather than push one option.
What is the minimum group size?
Forty participants on the two overland packages, because the coach and ferry costs only divide sensibly at that scale, and twenty on the fly-in retreat. There is no upper limit that matters in practice; we have run Bali programmes above two hundred participants, and the per-person rate falls as the group grows.
How long does the overland journey take?
It depends on where you depart from, the traffic on the day and the queue at the ferry terminal, so we will not put a number on this page that turns out to be wrong for your group. What we will do is build the run sheet around a realistic road time for your departure point, with rest stops in it, and tell you before you commit what time the group will actually reach the hotel. The crossing itself is the short part; the road is the variable.
What is the difference between the three packages?
The Essential is a sightseeing trip: four stops, one hotel night and the Jimbaran seafood dinner, with team building available as an add-on rather than built in. The Gathering adds a second night, a facilitated team building session at Bloom Garden in Bedugul, and a full gala dinner with MC and entertainment. The Fly-In Retreat starts at the arrivals hall instead of on the road, and adds Ayung River rafting, a full-day team building session with a proper facilitator ratio, and a gala night built around a sharing session.
Is the Ayung River rafting suitable for people who cannot swim?
Yes. The Ayung run is grade II–III, which is moving water with rapids rather than technical white water, and it runs with certified river guides, helmets and life jackets, plus a safety briefing and a paddling drill before the boats go in. Participants who would rather not go on the water are not left in a coach: they join the team building session, the leisure stops, or take a scoring and observer role. Tell us about mobility, health or age considerations in advance.
Can you handle halal and other dietary requirements?
Yes, and Bali is the one destination we work in where this genuinely has to be specified rather than assumed, because the island is Hindu-majority and halal catering is not the automatic default it is in Java. Tell us the numbers with your headcount and we book halal caterers and restaurants into the run sheet. Vegetarian, vegan, allergy and other specific requirements are straightforward as well, provided we know before the catering order is confirmed.
Can we add watersports at Tanjung Benoa?
Yes. Tanjung Benoa is an easy addition to any of the three packages, and the operators there are licensed, insured and used to corporate groups rather than walk-in tourists. It is quoted on top of the package rate because the cost scales with headcount and with which activities you pick. It is listed as an option on the Gathering for that reason.
Can we pay from outside Indonesia?
Rates are quoted and invoiced in Indonesian Rupiah. A 30% deposit secures your date, and the balance is settled no later than three days before departure. Tell us what else your finance team needs (invoicing entity, payment method, timing) when you enquire, and we will confirm the terms in writing before anything is committed.
What happens if it rains?
Most of the itinerary continues. Temples, villages and the shopping stops run in any weather, and Bali's rain tends to arrive as heavy afternoon showers rather than all-day washouts. The parts that are genuinely weather-dependent are the rafting, the watersports and the Jimbaran gala, and for each of those we hold an alternative rather than cancelling the day. The decision sits with the Game Master and the river operator on site, not with a schedule written weeks earlier.
How far in advance should we book?
Earlier than you would for our Java destinations. Bali hotel blocks, the Jimbaran gala venues and the coach fleet all tighten sharply around Idul Fitri, the mid-year school holidays and December, and the ferry queue lengthens at the same times. If your dates fall in any of those windows, talk to us months rather than weeks ahead, even if the headcount is not final yet.
Can the games be built around our own objectives?
That is the normal way we work. The activity list on this page is a starting point, not a fixed menu. Tell us what the programme is meant to achieve, whether that is integrating a newly merged team, onboarding a cohort of new hires, or working on a specific set of company values, and the Game Master designs the sessions and the debrief around it. The post-event report is written against those objectives.
How is safety handled?
Every high-adrenaline activity opens with a safety briefing before anyone takes part. The Ayung rafting runs with certified river guides, helmets and life jackets, and a paddling drill on the bank first. Adventure operators we use are licensed and carry their own insurance. Travel insurance is included on the Essential package, and for the other formats we confirm the cover in writing when we quote. The Game Master has the authority to stop or swap an activity on site. If your company requires specific insurance cover or documentation, tell us at the enquiry stage and we will confirm what is in place before you commit.
Plan your Bali programme
Tell us the group size, the dates, where the team is starting from and what the trip is meant to achieve. We will come back with a route, a package recommendation and a costed itinerary. Consultation is free, and there is no obligation to book.
